I know that most of my friends have patiently waited for the recipe of chicken 65 and today I am going to share Chicken 65 Recipe step by step with pictures. This is one of the most popular Indian chicken starter recipe and being able to re-create restaurant style chicken 65 at home, successfully.
Preparation Time : 10 mins Cooking Time : 30 mins Serves : 2 to 3
- Boneless Chicken – 1/2 kg ( cut in small bite size pieces)
- Egg – 1
- Onion – 1 (optional)
- Ginger,Garlic – 2 tsp (paste)
- Corn Flour – 2 tsp (If u want add more)
- Red Chilli Sauce – 2 tsp
- Red food color – 1/2 tsp (mix water and used)
- Red Chili Powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – a generous pinch
- Garam Masala Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
- Cumin / jeera – 1/2 tsp
- Green Chillies – 3
- Curry Leaves
- Salt to taste
Step By Step Instructions with Pictures :
Step 1 : Wash Chicken and cut into small pieces. Add Ginger ,garlic, green chillies, coriander into grinder and make paste.
Step 2 : Now add paste ,egg, cornflour ( or rice flour,Maida) , red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt to taste and mix well. Leave this for 5 min or more.
Step 3 : Meanwhile Heat oil and deep fry pieces turn until golden.
Step 4 : Take just 1/2 to 1 tbsp oil. Add ginger, garlic, oinon when it is lightly fried add cumin, chilies and curry leaves.
Step 5 : When All ingredients turn light brown add red chilli sauce, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt to taste,Food color. Allow it dry a bit and then add some water (very less) . Which is shown in below pics.
Step 6 : Add Fried chicken pieces and saute for 2 to 3 minutes to coat the mixture well.
