Gobi(cauliflower) Manchurian Recipe

Gobi Manchurian is one of  good starter for veg people. Gobi Manchurian is made from Cauliflower florets also known as Gobi or phool gobi. If you are looking for a dry version then you can check this Gobi Manchurian recipe. Here Today I am giving you gobi Manchurian recipe step by step with pictures make it simple for you.

Prepare Time : 7-10 min       Cook Time : Less than 45 min      Serves  : 3 

Ingredients : 

  • Cauliflower                                       –      1 medium
  • Maida (All purpose flour)            –      1/5 Cup
  • Cornflour                                        –      2-3 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste                        –      1 tsp
  • Oil
  • salt
  • Green Chillies                                 –      2 (optional)
  • Onion                                                –      1
  • Capsicum                                         –      1
  • black pepper powder                    –      1/2 tsp
  • soya sauce                                        –      1 tsp
  • Red chilli Paste                               –      2 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato Sauce                                  –      3 tsp
  • Spring Onion(optional)

Step by Step with pictures : 

Step 1  :  Wash and cut like which is shown in below. Soak in lukewarm salted water for 5-7                   mins, drain.



Step 2 :   In a bowl mix cornflour, maida, ginger garlic paste, black pepper for making the batter.  Then add cauliflower and marinate for 2-3 min.

Step 3 :   Heat oil in frying pan over medium flame and fry marinated cauliflower. Best way to fry the florets is by using a spoon. This way your hands are free to do other things . After that start to stick to each other due to the cornflour you can separate after fried.

Step 4 :  Heat oil in pan and add chopped ginger, garlic, Chopped onion, chopped capsicum. Stir fry on a medium flame for a minute.

Step 6 : Now last Step, Now Add soya sauce, Tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce/paste, salt to taste and Saute well. Then add deep fried cauliflower and mix well. Toss and Stir fry on a medium flame for a minute.

Step 7 :  Ready your Gobi Manchurian and serve hot with ketchup or spicy sauce.
