Fish Fry is loved by almost all non-vegetarians ! Fish fry made with freshly ground fennel seeds and pepper corn. I have not used any garam masala to keep the flavours of pepper and Fennel seeds . But if you want to like and add flavour of garam masala in fish fry, then you can use it.
I haven’t posted fish fry recipe….This fish fry was a experiment few weeks back and it was a super hit at home that the hubby just loved it….And now I want to share with you all. Do give a try and fall for this flavourful and aromatic fish fry….!
Step By Step Fish Fry Recipe With Pictures :
Prep. Time : 10 mins Cook Time : 10 Mins Serves : 3-4
- Fish – 500 gm
- Pepper seeds – 2-3 tsp
- Fennel Seeds – 2-3 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste – 2-3 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 2 tsp
- Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Lemon – 2 small size
- Green Chillies – 3
- Curry leaves – 2-3
Step 1 : Wash Fish and Marinate with Lemon (juice), Turmeric, Red chilli powder, salt. Keep aside for 10 or more mins.
Step 2 : Grind fennel seeds, pepper seeds, coriander. ( prefer fine powder )
Step 3 : Heat oil in a pan. Saute ginger garlic paste, green chilli powder, curry leaves and until the raw smell disappears.
Step 4 : Add Marinated fish and fry on medium flame. Flip them and fry on the other side.
Step 5 : Add half of the crushed powder and Continue to fry for 2-3 more mins. Agin Flip them and add remaining powder.Fry until the fish is roasted completely.
Step 6 : Serve Hot and Enjoy !
