Yesterday, I have posted veg momos recipe and if you taste with chutney/chilli sauce then taste will be more delicious. Today, I am sharing a very easy to make street shop style momos chutney recipe. Momos chutney/red chilli dipping sauce is often served with momos and is very easy to make at home.
To make momos chutney recipe, you can make use of simple ingredients readily available at home. In Restaurants or street vendors serves chutney very hot that you get a runny nose and tears start flowing down the face. If you don’t want the momos chutney to be too spicy, reduce the red chilies. You can also increase or decrease the number of garlic according to your taste preference.

Total Time : Less than 30 min Serves: 3 – 4
- Red chillies – 5-6 (more spicy add more)
- Ginger – 1 tsp chopped
- Garlic – 3-4 clove
- Tomato – 2
- Salt – To taste
- Sugar – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves
METHOD STEP BY STEP PICTURES :
Step 1 : Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil, place the tomato and red chillies in the hot water.
Step 2 : Cook on high for 10 mins.Turn off the heat. Drain water and cool the tomato and red chilies.
Step 3 : Transfer the red chillies, tomatoes along with water. Add salt, sugar, Garlic, Ginger to it .
Step 4 : Blend it to a puree.( if you want more runny then add water). Pour the red chutney in a small jar or bowl.
Step 5 : Enjoy Chutney/Sauce with Veg momos !!!
