Last blog i have posted how to make spring roll wrapper/sheets. In this post i am sharing how to make Spring roll step by step pictures. You can get frozen spring roll wrappers from supermarket.
Vegetable spring rolls are a classic Indo-Chinese Recipe. A spiced up vegetable mixture is rolled into a spring roll casing and either deep fried or baked to get a crunchy, delicious.
I have made a simple vegetable stir fry filling for this spring roll.! It purely depends on your choice of colorful veggies. This classic dish is a favorite of everyone, children in particular. It has a lots of flavors and healthy vegetables, these spring rolls make a great starter / appetizer for any party.

SPRING ROLL RECIPE STEP BY STEP PICTURES BELOW :
PREP TIME & COOK TIME : 40 MIN SERVES : 4-5
- All purpose flour – 1/2 cup
- Wrapper roll – 7-8
- Spring onion – 2-3 small
- Cabbage – 1 1/2 cup chopped
- Carrot – 1 cup chopped or grated
- Capsicum – 2 small size
- Garlic – 1 tsp chopped
- Ginger cloves – 3-4
- Soya sauce – 1 tsp
- Red chilli sauce – 1 tsp (optional)
- Green Chilli – 1
- Noodles(optional) – 1 cup boil (Use maggie noodle too)
- Black pepper – 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves
Step 1 : First cook noodles. I use very thin noodles it takes 2 min to boil. (if you are using noodles pack then cook as per instruction on page.) Then then drain the noodles and rinse them thoroughly in water.
Step 2 : Heat oil in a frypan. Add chopped spring onion whites, green chilli, ginger, garlic and saute in medium flame.
Step 3 : Then add chopped cabbage, carrot, capsicum. fry veggies on high flame (4-5 min). when veggies have some crunch then add black pepper crushed/powder.
Step 5 : Add 1 tsp soya sauce and stir everything very well.
Step 6 : Add cooked noodles, salt and mix everything.
Step 7 : Switch off the flame and Spring onion(green), Coriander leaves (chopped). Mix everything and keep aside.
Step 8 : Take all purpose flour in bowl and Add water and mix it to fine paste. (this is to seal the edges of spring roll)
Step 9 : Take a wrapper/sheet ( if you are using home made wrapper then keep cook side facing you). Apply the sealing paste on the edges of the wrapper. Place veggie on one side.
Step 10 : Roll it over. Do step which show below pics. Spread the batter(paste) on the sides
Step 11 : Seal both the sides from sideways. spread some batter on the sealed edges.
Step 12 : Press gently and seal it. use light force from your hands, otherwise they may break.
Step 13 : Repeat the steps for all spring rolls.
Step 14 : Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Drop roll and Flip it to other side for even browning.Fry till Golden.
Step 15 : Put them on the paper towels tray to remove excess oil.
Step 16 : Serve hot with Ketchup or Chutney..Perfect snack in Rainy days 🙂 Enjoy !!!
