Quick | Easy Potato Patties Recipe

Hi Everyone,

Aloo patties  with crisp outside soft inside is a real treat to taste buds at anytime. Make this aloo patties by following the step by step pictures recipe.

 SERVES : 1-2                       PREP & COOK TIME : 12-16 MIN

INGREDIENTS : 

  • Potatoes/aloo                           –     2 (medium size)
  • Green Chillies                         –      2-3
  • Ginger, Garlic paste               –    2 tsp
  • Gram Flour                              –      3-4 tsp
  • Cumin                                        –     1 tsp
  • Corn flour                                 –      2 tsp
  • Asafoetida                                –      pinch
  • Red chilli powder                   –      1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain/carom seed                –     1/2 tbsp
  • fennel/sauf seeds                    –     1/2 tsp
  • Lemon( optional )
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil For  shallow frying

STEP BY STEP METHOD WITH PICTURES :

STEP 1 :   Grate the potatoes and squeeze out excess water. Add Green chillies, coriander, ajwain, cumin,fennel/sauf seeds and mix well.

 

STEP 2 :  Now add besan/gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, corn flour, Lemon juice(optional ) mix very well.

 

STEP 3 :  Heat non stick flat pan. Shape into flat patty shapes on the palm of your hand. shallow fry  and cook until bottom surface  turn golden brown.

 

STEP 4 :   Turn over and fry the other side of patties.  Once done , then drain the patties on paper towels to remove excess oil.

 

STEP 5 :  Serve the patties hot with ketchup. Best for kids snack.

Paneer Bhurji its quick and easy to made and  Paneer bhurji is a popular preparation loved by indians across the world. It is an easy, spicy dish that tastes great with bread, parathas and inspired by egg bhurji.

How To Make Paneer Bhurji : Preparation Time :- 10 min  Serve for 2

Ingredients:

  1. 200 gms Paneer
  2. 1 tsp Oil
  3. 1 Onion
  4. 1 Tomato
  5. 2 Green Chillies
  6. Cumin seeds
  7. 1/4 tsp Red Chilli  powder
  8. 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  9. 1/4 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  10. 2 tsp Coriander Leaves
  11. Salt to taste

  • Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan, add the cumin seeds, chopped onions and the ginger garlic paste,  curry leaves fry till brown and  Add the chillies and tomatoes and fry till they are soft and pulpy.
  • Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and little water so that all the masalas are well combined.

  • Add the paneer, coriander and 1 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally
  • Serve hot  Paneer Bhurji  with Chapati or Parathas  🙂
