Baby corn  fry is a tasty kids friendly snacks recipe. I prepare this baby corn  fry specially  for my daughter and she loves this a lot. I do not make it spicy because my daughter is too young to eat spicy food. I usually serve this with tomato sauce. 





  • Baby corn                                         –    7
  • Maida/ all purpose flour               –     2  tbsp
  • Corn flour                                        –     1 1/2 tbsp
  • Rice flour                                         –     1 tbsp (optional) 
  • Red chilli Powder                           –     1  tbsp
  • Ginger garlic Paste                         –     1/2 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds                                    –      1/3 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jerra powder         –      1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder                          –      1/2 tbsp
  • Curd                                                   –      1/2 tbsp (optional) 
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil For deep frying
  •  Water



  1.     Wash the baby corns and cut it into two parts making it half.

2.     further in a bowl, take  Maida, corn flour, rice flour, fennel seeds, coriander powder, cumin seeds powder (jerra powder), chilli powder, Ginger garlic paste, curd, salt to taste.

3.    Add in a very little water. Mix well and make sure that the baby corns are coated well. don’t make the batter thin.

4.    Deep fry in hot oil stirring occasionally till the baby corn turns golden and crisp.

5.  Serve these hot and crispy fried baby corns with tomato ketchup. 








Tandoori Chicken Recipe | Chicken leg Recipe

Today i am sharing an easy recipe to make a restaurant style tandoori chicken| chicken leg piece in an oven. This recipe yield spicy chicken leg pieces that are soft and juicy with all the flavours of spices.  These are not too spicy for kids, they can enjoy them.



PREP TIME : 5-6 MIN        COOK TIME : 30 MIN  SERVES : 2

  • Fresh Chicken Leg pieces                                          –         4
  • Yogurt / Dahi (Thick)                                                  –         1/4 Cup
  • Kasuri methi                                                                –         1 tsp
  • black Pepper powder                                                  –        1 tsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder(optional)                            –         1 tsp
  • Ginger                                                                             –        1 tsp paste
  • Garlic                                                                              –        6-7 cloves
  • Garam Masala Powder                                                –        1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder                                                        –        1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds                                                                   –       1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jerra powder                                        –       1/2 tsp
  • Amchur Powder | dried mango powder                  –       1/2 tsp
  • Green Chilli                                                                     –       2-3
  • Red chilli powder                                                          –        1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder                                                          –        1 tsp
  • Lemon                                                                              –        1
  • Oil
  • Coriander leaves(dhaniya)
  • Salt to taste


Step 1 :    Wash leg pieces and drain off the water completely. Make 1-2 deep incisions into the meat to get marinated well from inside. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, lemon juice and rub the leg pieces. Keep aside.

Step 2 :   Meanwhile you can prepare marinate. add to a bowl thick curd, ginger garlic paste, Paste (curry leaves + coriander leaves + green chilli +Fennel seeds) , kasuri methi, black paper, amchur powder, garam masala, Lemon juice ,oil, Jeera Powder.

Step 3  :    Mix All ingredients and marinate the leg pieces. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours.


Step 4  :    Preheat Oven at 230 C and prepare oil ( add 2 tsp oil to a bowl, red chilli powder) mix and keep aside.


Step 5   :    Prepare the baking tray with foil paper and grease it.  Leg pieces place it on the tray.  Now Apply Red chilli oil over the leg pieces . Place the tray in the oven and bake for 12 min.

Step 6  :      After 12 min bring the tray out of the oven and repeat chilli oil on leg pieces (this prevents the chicken from drying up).  Bring it out again and flip the leg pieces  to the other side and apply oil again. Bake it for 10 min again.  

These timing work well for me but you can increase and decrease your time, but keep an eye to prevent overcooking. )  


Step 7 :    Serve hot and enjoy juicy leg piece 🙂


Chilli Soya Chunk Recipe Step By Step Pictures

PREP AND COOKING TIME :  30 MIN                              SERVES : 3-4 


  • Soya Chunk                                                –     2 Cups 
  • Onion                                                           –     2
  • Capsicum                                                    –     1 Big size 
  • Green Chilli                                                –     1
  • Soya Sauce                                                  –     3 tsp 
  • Red chilli paste                                          –    1 1/2 tsp 
  • Ketchup                                                        –   2 tsp 
  • Ginger garlic Paste                                    –   2 tsp 
  • Black Pepper Powder                               –    1/2 tsp
  • Kashmir Red chilli Powder                  –    1/2 tsp
  • Corn Flour                                                  –    1/2 tsp 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Oil 


Step 1  :    Boil water, switch off and add soya chunks to it and keep aside for 10mins.  Then Squeeze out excess water.

Step 2 :  In a bowl take soya chunk, cornflour, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, 1  tsp soya sauce, salt, Kashmir red chilli powder and mix well. Keep aside for 15 min.

Step 3  :   Heat a pan with oil, add 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste,  onions and saute for a good couple of mins till the onion is soft.

Step 4 :    Then add capsicum , Onion, black pepper powder and Fry for 2-3 mins on medium heat until the red chillies turn brown and the onions get transparent.


Step 5 :   Add Soya sauce, red chilli paste, tomato ketchup, salt mix well.

Step 6 :   Now Add marinated soya chunk and mix everything well. Cover and cook for 2-3 min on medium flame.


Step 7 :  Serve Hot and Enjoy !



Cheese Balls Recipe | Cheese Potato Balls Recipe

Hi All,

Potato Cheese Balls is a perfect starter recipe and will be loved by all age groups and kids will love it for sure as it has the best combination of Potato and cheese in it.

Now let me tell you one more important thing.  If you are planning to do this, try to make it in double batches. You can have half of that instantly and half you can freeze for enjoying later. Take these balls and arrange it in a tray, put the tray in the freezer for 30 minutes until the balls get a little firm. Now transfer this to a zip lock bag and freeze it for later use. Now you have a handy snack whenever you have a cheesy cravings.

  • Cheese                                              –   Half cup Grated
  • Potato                                               –   3
  • Green chilli                                     –   2
  • Ginger Garlic paste                      –   1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder                  –   1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala                               –   1/4 tsp (optional)
  • Lemon juice                                   –   1 tsp
  • Corn flour                                       –   1 1/2 tsp
  • All purpose flour                          –   1 1/2 tsp
  • Gram flour/besan                         –   1 tsp (optional)
  • Chat masala (optional)
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

Step  1  :  Boil potatoes in pressure cooker and Mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl. Add Coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, chopped green chillies, black pepper powder, salt, garam masala (optional) and mix well.

Step 2 :   Add garam flour/besan , All purpose flour, corn flour and grated cheese, lemon juice. mix very well .

Step 3 :  Make small balls from the mixture and make one tiny ball to test while frying.

Step 4 :   Heat oil, deep fry the balls in oil till golden brown. Fry in batches, I used my small pan so fried just 3-4 balls at a time. Drain in tissue paper and sprinkle some chat masala (optional) . (with a slotted spoon, turn over when the balls become golden.)

Step 5 :   Serve hot with Sauce | Chutney | Ketchup.  Enjoy !!

Chilli Chicken Recipe


Today’s recipe is chilli chicken dry version, this is an Chinese starter that is spicy and juice fried chicken pieces sauted in chilli sauce with onion and Capsicum.

In this recipe i didn’t  use any food colour, ajinomoto , vinegar and fancy sauces that most of the recipe uses . Believe me chilli chicken turned out so good,  flavourful and very delicious and matched 90%  the restaurant version.  Hubby & Daughter  loved like it even  it spicy they had it with tomato sauces so this recipe need basic ingredients for an Indo -Chinese Recipe  and that give you restaurant style chilli chicken Taste.



  • Boneless chicken                               :     250 grams
  • Capsicum                                              :     2 small size
  • Green chilli                                          :     2
  • Onion                                                     :     1
  • Ginger                                                    :     1/2 tsp
  • Garlic                                                      :    1 tsp
  • Corn flour                                             :     2 tsp
  • All purpose flour/Maida                   :     2 tsp
  • Black pepper                                        :     1/2 tsp
  • Soya Sauce                                            :     1 1/2 tsp for Marination &  1 1/2 tsp for Seasoning
  • Red Chilli sauce                                  :     1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder                               :     1 tsp
  • Sugar                                                      :     1/2 tsp
  • Coriander(optional)
  • Salt
  • Oil


Step 1 :  First in bowl take chicken with ginger-garlic-green chilli-coriander paste, red chilli sauce,  soya sauce, black pepper powder, salt and keep marinate in fridge for 20 min.

Step 2 :   After 20-30 min add corn flour, all purpose flour, red chilli powder( for colour). and mix well.

Step 3 :   Heat oil for deep frying and when it’s almost smoking hot, add the chicken pieces one at a time, well coated with the batter. pieces will yield crispy chicken as shown. Drain excess oil using a paper towel and keep the fried pieces aside.

Step 4 :   For sauce, in bowl add 1 1/2 tsp soya sauce, sugar, red chilli sauce, red chilli powder, pepper powder ( optional). mix well and keep aside.


Step 5 :   Heat the oil given under table -2 and fry those green chillies, onion, bell peppers/capsicum  and ginger garlic chopped. Saute them for few minutes over high flame. Add sauce and mix allow to bubble.

Step 6 :  Add the chicken and Mix. If you feel it is dry, sprinkle little water. Fry on high for 2 to 3 minutes till it looks dry.

Step 7 :  Serve Hot !! Enjoy !!


Cheese Biscuits Recipe Without Oven


These Cheese Biscuits it’s not like our regular Biscuits . It’s like bread texture. I have done researched on that. How can i made a biscuit without an oven. And then i cooked these cheese biscuits. Here, i am going to share step by step pictures. It will make you to simple way.

It’s eggless biscuits. It’s goes as starter/ snack with tea and best for kids tiffin box. When i was making biscuits she was helped me and She enjoyed a lots. Here are some pictures.



  • Whole wheat                              –     2 Cups
  • Maida/ All purpose flour         –     1 Cup
  • Cheese Cube                               –     1 Cup (Grated)
  • Butter (Salted/Unsalted )          –     1/2 cup
  • Baking powder                          –    1 tsp
  • Milk                                              –     1/6 cup
  • Baking soda                                –     1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper                              –     1 tsp
  • Carom seeds(ova/ajwain)      –      1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil


STEP 1 :  Take 2 cups of Wheat flour, 1 cup of maida/all purpose flour, Black pepper powder, salt,baking powder, ajwain/carom seeds, baking soda, Mix well.

STEP 2 :  Add Chilled butter. Mix butter with flour use your hand to mix well. Mixture should look like bread crumb. Show in below pic.

STEP 3 :  Now add 1 cup of grated cheese and mix well(lightly).show in below pics.

STEP 4 :   Add a half cup  of milk and start bringing the whole mixture together. gather mixture and make dough.

STEP 5 :  Don’t do like  chapati dough. cover and keep this cheese biscuit dough in the fridge for 25  minutes.


STEP 6 :  After 25 or 35 min remove dough from fridge. Roll dough which is show in below pic.


STEP 7 :  Cut the rolled dough with cutter.


STEP 8 :  Heat 2 tsp of oil in Frying pan. Keep on a low flame. (instead of oil you can use ghee.).  Place cheese biscuit on pan. (imp. keep the flame to the lowest, if you use high flame burnt faster from outside and remain uncooked from inside.


STEP  9 :   In a minute, flip the biscuits. flip again and a couple of times more till they are golden and crisp. These biscuits takes about 3 to 5 minutes on a low flame. Cooked in batches and used 1 tsp oil  while frying every batches.


STEP 10 :   Once cooked then keep them on a wired rack and let them cool.( when they get cooled completely, the crispness is not there and they taste a bit more soft and better. these cheese biscuits keep in the fridge for more 2,3 days. )


STEP 11 :  Enjoy Cheese biscuits with Hot Tea or coffee.
